Boy issues, I think I'm in love

so I've liked this guy for almost 2 years and we've never talked before. somehow, I feel like he likes me tho. we are both veryy quiet, but have a lot of friends, just not of the opposite sex. I really want to get to know him, people say we'd be perfect for each other and I know we would be! why do I feel that he likes me? I've caught awkward eye contact moments and stuff, but I dunno!! I feel like I just want him to like me so badly that im pretending he does? or does he really? I want to knowww. I think im in freaking love I think about him non stop, but then when I see him I just want to run away and hide. URGGHH. help!! I hate love! or "like"..or crush, whatever this is

You could start up a conversation with him about something else or try to hang out with him if he has any friends that are your friends.

It may feel like your in love, but usually thats not the case. You have never talked to this guy so how do you know your "in love" with him. You may be crazy about him but face it you have to love someone for a reason and you dont REALLY know this guy. I really understand you. I thought I was in love with many boys but they come and go even if it takes years.really I dont know what love is. You will find that someone one day and that someone will know you like the back of their hand and you will know them even better. Talk to this guy, get to know him, open up and who knows you could fall in love or just earn a great friend. You have nothing to lose. Good luck=)

thanks guys see but the thing is we have SO much in common...itd be so easy to start a conversation but im just too freaking shy. and we are so similar, thats what everyone says. so I dunno

well if you have so much in common than it should be easy to talk to him=) I know its hard...but once you start a conversation its a peice of cake. trust me. and you shouldnt always depend on what everyone says, go and see for yourself if you have things in common. maybe just if you go up to him and say "hey whats up? what are you doing this summer?" he'll become less shy beacause you seem comfotable. give it a try. it cant hurt

OMG! I have exactly the same kinda thing happening in my life!! it's so anoying hey?!? because I've never talked to the guy I like either . . . I mean, I invited him and 20 other friends over to a party one time, and some of my friends said he was going to hug me goodbye, but I just wasnt' around!! ohwell.. missed my chance..
