How to train my boxer?

ok so i got this new puppy his name is ozzy and hes about 3 months old and not potty trained. and we dont really know how to potty train him either. my mom is blind so she cant see if he goes in the house when im not there so we take him out ever 30 min....

so am i doing something rite here???

well there's these mats that you can put on the ground... they're blue/white and i think they smell a certain way so the dog's attracted to it. idk what they're called... but they work!

and just take your little puppy outside every once in a while so he learns to do his business our there. ;]

Aww he's a boxer? I have one of them, they're ADORABLE! Anyway, what iffy said is true. That helped with my dog, but i don't remember what they were called and mine are long gone now..Also my dog would get into the habit of scratching or barking when he wanted to go out after that because we started putting the mats outside. When we took them away, it was all good. And he was potty trained in a week; but it's different for every dog.

it's ez! But it's also ez to screw up. 1st, no rubbing his nose in his pee. No yelling when you discover the pee after the fact. Walk him several times a day with treats concealed. he goes where you want give him a treat and show some enthusiasm. If you catch him going in house- pick him up and put him outside where he should go. Absolutely no negativeity. He will only lose trust in you.
