What temperature do I use to boil water?

I now you guys are going to think im dum but I need to boil egss and I dont now how to boil water.yes I now I put cold water in a pan but what temp do I put it to

well the higher the temperature, the faster it will boil

To boil water, you turn your stove on high. I usually put the eggs in while the water is cool, because if you put them in when the water starts boiling, your eggs will crack. So when the water starts to boil, set the timer for 10-12 mins. and leave the eggs in the boiling water until the timer goes off. Then drain the water, and let eggs cool on their own.

The boiling point of water is 100 °C (212 °F) at standard pressure. On top of Mount Everest the pressure is about 260 mbar (26 kPa) so the boiling point of water is 69 °C. (156.2 °F).
