Body acne

Okay so I'm about 15 years old and for some reason I have really bad body acne.. I know it probably sounds really gross but I shower everyday, it just keeps getting worse and I dont know what to do anymore. Its embarassing because I keep it to myself and...

in the summer I never wear bathing suits or tank tops and I cant change in front of my friends. I'm wondering if I should ask my mom to take me to a dermatologist or just keep hiding it? My sister had the same acne problem and I'm scared its going to be like that. If I had to choose one thing I wanted more than anything it would be to get rid of my body acne. So please, what should I do? :[

I'd say that you should talk with your mom about getting you to a dermatologist. If you keep hiding it, it'll only get worse and worse. It's best to get it taken care of ASAP.

Go and see the doctor. You've said it's got worsened and therefore it will get even worse in the future if left untreated.

See A dermatogolist - a skin doctor. They can help you. I too have struggled with this all of my life. It is hard but they can get you some help.

Get to a dermatologist now, that way it won't get even worse than it is currently later on. The sooner you get help, the better.

you could actually be ellergic to a certain soap/lotion.
