Blue jean vest

Ok I have a blue jean vest that is more of a dark denim and its really cute but every time I try and wear it my boyfriend says it dont look rite so can anybody tell me how I could wear it with different colors and styles...

You could try wearing brighter colours or even a shortsleaved white business shirt under the vest.
Accesories always make everything look 100% better.

WEAR NICER COLORS DARK GIVES LIKE AN I DONT CARE VYBE AND THATS WHY HES SAYING THAT WEAR LIKE BABY BLUE ,YELLOW ,RED , MOST WEAR LIGHT COLORS EVEN you CAN WEAR WHITE

DONT WEAR
-BLACK
-DARK BLUE
-GREY
-PURPLE UNLESS ITS A LIGHT PURPLE
