Blue hair

I would like to dye my hair so it looks really dark blue almost black in the the dark and bluer maybe navyish in the sun. My hair is naturally dark brown almost black. Does any one have any advice? I'm willing to lighten my hair a few shades if necessary...

but im hoping not to have to bleach it. I've used garnier blue black before but it didnt come out as blue as I wanted and oh yeah I'm looking for a permanent hair dye

go to a place where they sell only that stuff. a salon store. we have a Sally's here. They sell only beauty salon products. They have all kinds of colors and the people who work there help a lot too.

Try dying Manic Panic over your black hair. Since you can't really dye over black, you may be SOL, but that is probably your only chance of getting the desired effect.
