Blows my mind

My teacher asked this today and we spent 55 min thinking about it. What does nothing look like? hahah what a waste of a class

I suppose just vast blackness in all directions. Up down, left right... if you yourself were submerged into veritable nothingness, you wouldn't be able to see yourself even. Seriously? 55 minutes?

I think your teacher was trying to get you to open your minds.
That's the kind of questions my freshman philosophy teacher used to ask.
To look at things at a different angle; see them with new eyes; new perspective.
So that we come up with different and less 'inside the box' conclusions and ideas : )
