Blood clots!

Thunder Robot Asked by funadvice over 2 years ago, 6 answers.

I haven't had a proper period for 18mth...just occasional spotting/discharge.
I lost my periods due to my eating disorder.
Although pcos has ment my periods were always irregular anyway.

Today I've been having clots of blood!
Some quite big.

I had an...

early misscarriage in 2001, so I remember having clots then.

The thing is I haven't got any pain...none at all.
I was in a lot of pain with the misscarriage...so this isn't a one?

The last time I had sex was around the 13th of jan'...I think.
I did a preg' test in feb'...I can't remember when...I think it was in the 2nd half of feb'.
It was negative.

But now cause of these clots I'm confused.

Any thoughts?

That happened to me a couple of months ago after they put me on birth control (trying to control the pcos)
You may want to talk to your dr, figure out what is going on...

Well passing blood clots is normal during some periods though if they are bigger then the size of a quarter you should contact your doctor about it -- maybe you could be having your peiod again??

I'm english, so I don't know how big a quarter is.
the biggest one so far is about 1.5 inches!

Yeah, that's bigger than a quarter -- you should go talk to your health care provider about it .

birth control doesn't cure or help PCOS...it just masks the symptoms.
