Click on to Enlarge..You can see my face if you do tht Asked by charity over 3 years ago, 5 answers.

Even though many people have already asked this I will ask MY version of the question:
I have naturally very dark brown hair
Summer 2005 I tried to dye it blonde, turned out orange!
I now have a lighter shade of brown dyed onto my hair to cover up the...

orange (Obviously)
I would like to go blonde this upcoming April
Hair Type is: Long Hair ( Just under the Bra Line) Very Straight and thin
HOW DO I GO BLONDE
(Any experts out there or people just like me some advise would be super)

well my trick, i do my hair bloned and if it does go a bit to light, 1 week after i do a light brown on it and it makes it look like im a natural bloned. my sister works in a salon so she does it for me and as long as you dont leave it on for to long it wont go yellow or anything just make sure you do it for the amount of time it says no longer no less, i was not in to the idea of going bloned when my sister wanted to do it, but i gave in and iv never gone dark since, that was 7 year ago

make sure to buy a good hair dye. and aply bleach before you put the dye on and then put the dye on and wait at least 30 mins and then wash it. it will be a perfect dye. but dye does not last that much if you dont use bleach. and try not shampoo it that much the color does wear off in a while. there is special shapoos for thios sort of thing. pantene has a line is called color reinstoring or something like that . for more help send me a messege i will help u if you dont under stand what to do.

If you go from dark brown to blonde all at once, it will not only fry your hair, but it'll likely turn out orangey. What you do is gradually go blonde, by dying it no more than two shades lighter at a time. Wait a couple weeks and do it again. Keep repeating this process until you have the shade you want.

Or nuke it with Jolen creme bleach with the powder and cream mix. This can damage hair though and thins the hair as well as bleaching it.
