Blond to brown...

Asked by tiffany_nicole09 2 months ago, 3 answers.

I had my hair highlighted in a salon but the roots were not done well. I want to go back to brown hair but I dont want to pay a fortune again. Can I buy a hair color kit at the store and dye it back to brown with no problems?

I personally hate when girls dye their hair platinum blonde. Its hard to maintain because your roots will grow out all the time and it just doesn't look natural.

What will happen is that the hair color will be two-toned. Since I don't know what you mean by 'the roots weren't done well', I'm not sure which direction to go, but I'm assuming that you mean that your roots are dark and the highlighted parts are blond. If that's the case, then the hair color, depending on the shade you get, will be a different color than the rest of your hair.
So, if you go back to brown, your roots will probably be a lighter shade of brown and the blond will be the actual shade of the hair color you buy.
I think that it will have to look better than it does now though.

Have you thought about complaining to the person that highlighted your hair at the salon? Maybe she will redo it. They don't want the word to get around that they don't do good work.
