is there any way to get rid of a blister fast?

well I'm a bass guitarist, so when I get blisters on my fingers I just sterilize a needle, poke a hole at the side and drain it dry (disgusting I know). Don't remove the skin if you can help it and try too keep it clean to prevent infection. The next day should feel a bit better and just let it heal. Oh and clean the area around the blister first.

If you want to sterilize a needle (get one from your mom's sewing kit or sumthing), just heat it over a lighter (not in the flame but just above it), let it cool and then your good to go.
