they are called loop or spoon extractors...you press down on the pimple with it gently and essentially you break the head of the pimple but it leaves the pore clean.

I have one... they leave big circles and make your skin really red.
don't pop em!
Wait for them to dry up because touching them makes the pores activate and produce more oil.

good advice retrolollies!!! leave them alone!! those things will only leave you scarred and with red skin!!!

rather go to a skin care therapist if you can for a monthly facial to have a good cleanse and ask her to remove them professonally--if she is properly trained, she will not leave you scarred!!! make sure you get a good recommendation for a facial therapist, as there are some dodgy ones out there and they will only do more damage!
if you cant afford regular facials, then leave them alone. exfoliating twice a week is also very important!! it helps to get rid of dead skin cells that clog up pores (which cause blackheads when mixed with oil and dirt) keeps your skin silky smooth, therefore a better appearance and your products will penetrate better! preferably use an enzymatic exfoliator (one without the little balls in) as it is more gentle on the skin! if you are serious about your skin try your best to save a little so you can afford good salon products, rather than buying cheap products on the shelf as these usually strip the skin of its natural oils, leaving your skin unhealthy and more prone to blackheads!
