Black stool after 3 days of being sick, should I be worried?

I was sick with throwing up and diarrhea I want to know why is my stool black diarrhea still after 3 days I feel fine but just that part worries me

heavy iron overdose? I know iron can make it dark, iron supplement or liver, green veg but for the diarhhea it would have to be excessive...

replace that fluid loss - drink lots of water. check your diet.

Did you take a lot of pepto or similar medicine? It will cause black stool.

I had this once and was rushed to hospital.

Black stools can mean there is a more serious problem going on. This could mean that you have a bleed in your stomach.

Generally, the stools have a sicky sweet smell because of the old blood in them.

Please get checked out by a doctor straight away, even if this is only to put your mind at rest.

back is not that serious it just means you should really watch what you eat , you should also see a doctor.

Well, if me being rushed to hospital with a stomach bleed after having black stools and nearly dying not that serious, I would dread to know what you class as serious??

It really may not be serious in this case but then again we are not professionals in this matter.
