Black insulting white

when a white person says nig**r even if they dont mean it offenceively they get in trouble but when a black person says ho*ky no one really cares.why is that?

im black and mexican and I was adopted into in all white family so I really dont take...

sides.

p.s. im not trying to make anyone mad.

With some saying 'boy', much the same - just one of those double standards in life - the global warming speakers tell us, 'drive that small car and reduce your carbon footprint' - often get paid thousands, leave in their limos or SUV to go to their 'Learjet' - par for the course.

I'm American Indian and White. Some of My American Indian relatives are still living dirt poor on reservations, in the country that was stolen from them. They're called names too. So, frankly, I'm tired of hearing about the blacks being victims.
The main reason that black insults seem much worse than white insults are a percieved imbalance of power. It still SEEMS that whites get more breaks, or have it easier. So it's ok to take shots at those with more power or wealth,,..and uncool to take shots at those with less power or opportunity.
I'd like to live to see the time, that ANY reference to color, or breeding would be uncool. Dogs don't care if one in the pack is red, and one is gold, and one is black and one is brown and one is white.
If AMERICANS, can just be Patrotic AMERICANS. and that's it. That's all. Quit holding on to their roots , their past cultures, and traditions... we'd be a much stronger , happier, and safer , and more productive country.
How can the people be equal when people keep pointing out how much melanin someone has in their skin, or what country they came from before, or if people insist on being AFRICAN Americans or MExican Americans, instead of AMERICAN AMERICANS !???!!!
The white part of my ancestors, was German, and when they came here, my Grandfather said NO SPEAKING ANY GERMAN, we are NOW AMERICANS ! He changed our name from Schmidt to Smith to fit in better , and be more AMERICAN. Forget strudle and kraut. It's now baseball and applepie, Fourth of July , and Christmas ! AMERICAN Traditions, AMERICAN accent and language, and AMERICAN CULTURE.
THE SHAME is living in AMERICA, yet rejecting our culture of American language, American traditions, American Holidays, American hobbies and sports, and trying to be a different culture, while living here. THATS what keeps people divided.
If people want to be Mexican, move back to Mexico. If they want to be African, move back to Africa ! If they want to be French, move back to France !
If you want to be American. Be Proud to be an American!
You can't climb a ladder with one hand holding onto the ground. Or one foot still on the ground. If you are an AMERICAN LET GO of the past. Keep it like ancient history to teach your children about your ancestor's culture, but adopt AMERICAN culture, and be LOYAL and Patriotic...and people won't see your color and resent you, if all you want to be is a contributing, law abiding, tax paying , citizen who wants the American dream , and is a flag waving American.
People only tend to be called the and word if they talk getto dialect and have traditions and values that don't fit the American dream. And People only tend to be called the H word if they are acting like some kind of hillbilly or something unpleasant or prejudiced, that does't fit the American dream, of All Men are Created Equal and Equally have the right to Justice and to Pursue Happiness and the American dream.

mum always tells me this: sticks and stones would break my bones but names whould NEVER hurt me...
and I'm sticking to it, so I really don't care if somone calls me with a bad name, because it's just a name...
and I have to NOT call anyone else with bad names wether they're black or white.. some people just don't understand that it's just a name...

people should be careful when they call names or talk about someone.. what if they're around and heard it? it would only get you in trouble and make things worse between you and this person, right? ya right, so stop!

white people reckon they have power over black so they dont take it to heart what they say but still it is pretty mean on either sides.

racism isnt tolerable on either side...
however, when a person says honky there's no reference to a past history of slavery and oppression... there's a lot more meaning to the n word...
