Okay well I was wondering how does birth control work?
like do you have to take a pill everyday or what?

From what I remember my sister she took it once a month but it makes you gain a lot of weight. I think it depends on the pill.

The pill, yes you take everyday. They even give you something like a sugar pill to take when your on your period. The pill doesn't usually make you gain weight. The shot, however, does. The patch I've heard to be dangerous because it can cause blood clots. The pill seems to be the safest but also the easiest to forget about taking.

The birth control that I have is called the IUD and you can get it done in you Dr. office. I just goes up into your vagina and basically blocks sperm. It lasts for 5 years and you can go have it taken out if you decide within those 5 years that you want to have a baby. I have been on it for 2 years now and instead of right now I don't even have to think about it at all. And I don't have a preiod!!!
