The implant birth control is just a very tiny rod, and it's injected into you through a needle into your arm, so don't worry, getting it won't involve any huge surgery, and it'll be over in a second. It's a good option for people who don't want the hassle of taking the pill every day at the same time. The implant is usually effective for 3 months so I think it's worth it. Birth control is a good step in protecting yourself, good job happy

Getting the shot makes you gain weight though, and also can basically give you your pierod for a month at a time. My friend got the shot and a month later she was STILL on her period.

Iam sorry but the above is wrong.
I've takien a class on this. so let me help you out. implants are I beleive between 4 to 6 rod placed into your arm its a minor insision. they are good for 3 years actually they do have side effect so talk with your doctor about that, so people get them so dont. these can be remove also at anytime.
There is a shot, so no surgury. its in your arm and this last up to 3 months, so every 3 months you much renew it.
the pill is a everyday thing and at the same time everyday, its highly discuraged to miss a day or say take it one day in the morning and one day at night.
there are many other optionos to but I like these the best :D

Good luck.

Use condoms. Protects from the many infections out there.
