Birdie.

I Saw this like baby birdie today and like it was really fat and gray and like it had blue stripey feathers-of whatever birds have O.o
like and its mommy was very protective and loud..
What kind of birdie is it??

Could this bird be a Island Scrub-Jay or a Mexican Jay?
I looked at a bird identification site, and those were the closest I could find.
