I am on lots of meds and change very often...my husband is on much meds for skitchoeffective disorder as well so I always do the research before talking to my doc about a new med I wanna try. What I would do is think about how your current situation is...

are you feeling well on the combo you are on or are thing not going so well for you? If things aren't so good go online and google Lithium...it is one of the stronger antianxiety drugs yes. So, just read up on it a bit. See if it is something you wanna know more about when you read a bit on it Wikipedia.com is a great site to learn on meds. Or another option is to talk to your pharmasist and ask about Lithium. How it will interact with other meds you might be on and tell you about it. They are great about that usually.

I hope this helps. BTW...another drug that is a bit less strong and works for anxiety is Kolonipin. Could look that one up if you want. It helps my husband a lot. His disorder is related to yours.

You mean asking your doctor to switch you? Because it's not safe to switch medication on your own...
