Betta fish

Do betta fish have their own years? Like there are dog years compared to human years...and I want to know if betta fish are like that. And if so, how many betta fish years are in one human year?

It is about 2 years. That is how long we had ours. I also read that somewhere. That is pretty long for a fish. Of course has he told you how old he is already?

I don't think there's a ratio for that, but betta fish (as with all fish) live based on how well you take care of them. I've always had a betta fish since I was really little, and the one I have now I've managed to take care of for 3 and a half years.

To maximize his life span, you should feed him things other than the traditional flakes. They sell dried bloodworms and my fish loves them.
