Bettas are very territorial fish thats why they are called fighting fish. But the females can be together. If you put another fish with your male betta then your male betta might try to kill the other fish

Not familiar with the bio orb aquariums but I have kept bettas. Male bettas are only agressive against other male bettas.

Bettas are very inactive and timid fish. More often than not it is other fish that attack bettas in a community aquarium.

One of the problems with keeping bettas with other tropical fish is that ideally most tropical fish should be fed 2-3 times/day while betas seem to do best when fed once every other day. Bettas can get ill from overeating when fed too often.

African Dwarf Frogs do really well with Bettas. They are peaceful and the Betta usually does not even notice them. Sometimes the Betta even seems to enjoy the company of the frog. Plus the African Dwarf Frog is fully aquatic so it doesn't need access to land.
