Best way to calm down/get rid of sunburn?

Asked by jemmaammej 5 months ago, 5 answers.

I was at a festival on sunday and monday, and I really wasn't prepared for the weather, as it got to about 25 degrees celcius (I think that's maybe about 77 fahrenheit?!) which almost never happens here in the uk!

But anyway, I was out in the sun for...

14 hours on sunday without any sunscreen with me, and as a result of being extremelly pale, my shoulers, chest, and nose frazzled, and my nose even blistered (!). Despite having something like factor 50 sun screen on monday I still burned a bit more

Does anyone know how to make it less painful, calm it down, get rid of it, or anything at all that might help?

Thanks happy

I got burnt on Sunday aswell! I was walking though. Um, my only advice probably is to moisturise it with cream/lotion and put loads of it at night and it will slowly get rid of it. = ]

heeyaa I got sunburn on saturday and sunday it was my fault cis I fell asleep in it but at the moment my chest is red raw and it hurts when I take my top of to get undressed and it iches like mad so I have to smack my chest lightly to soothe it because if you itch it you will just peel. Also use after sun to help it too xx

Aloe vera gel or natural yogurt. Cucumber is very soothing.
