What if my best friend is turning into a slut?

yea, not much you can do. she's probably got low self esteem and feels pretty bad about herself so she sleeps around to make guys like her. you can talk to her but she's going to do what she wants to do.

One of my best friends sleeps around too, and I hate it. Eventually they will get a reputation for it. Theres not much you can do, you could tell her its bad but thats probley not going to stop her.

I hate to say this but you might want to stop hangin withe her...becuase her rep as a slut will soon become urs...everybody who knows that yall are friend will assume that you are a slut just like she is...trust me im a guy and I know for a fact you are going to start to get a lot of unwanted attention from guys who think that you are a slut just like your friend...so you need to either 1)stop her from being a slut, 2)stop hangin out with her, or3) just get used to being labled a slut urself...

My friend was a slut, and she kinda still is, and she knows it. But she isn't as bad as she used to be...But then again, is it really slutty when the guy knows you are cheating and says he doesn't care? I don't know... I'm still best friends with her. I say, let her make her own mistakes, unless she'a about to do something totally wrong, then try and talk her out of it...And if you can't, don't let it get to you, because she'll probably get caught [tip: call parents and tell them not to tell her it was you] and get tossed into some form of alternative learning system like my friend did! She got sooo much better after they took everything away from her, except me, no I was the 'role-model' or whatever...

She started becoming a slut in high school, but in jr. high everyone thought I was a hooker [God only knows why...The one time I dress nice and they go midevil on me]. And one guy tried to do something to me, kinda, and people have been calling me this all day...I beat the living sh*t outta him~ Or was that the other guy? Oh wait, that was the other guy who called me that, THIS guy I tried to punch him, but he was to fast & I hit the locker insted,...I dented it, he ran away like a chicken-sh*t...After that: Nothing ever again.

Guys won't think you're a slut for hanging out with a slut, not any that I know at least. Some may, but in my case I was overly-violent & didn't like people coming within 3 ft. of me, so they were smart enough to figure it out. ANd if they do think that: Set'em stright! Ah, wait, there was this one guy who did think I was a slut no matter what I did...But he hated me. Then again, he also thought I was a lesbian, so he was kinda stupid too...So I beat the sh*t outta him day after day after day and he just wouldn't give up! But he was abnomally stubborn.

Sorry it's so long, but my point is: Just be there for her, but don't tell her she has a low self-esteem. Because she'll either stick to you like glue [lesian rumors will go flying] or continue what she is doing but double time. Try asking her why she is the way she is for starters. There is always a 'Why' behind human action, and if she doesn't tell you or says 'I don't Know', she's hiding something! So then tell her parents, and then ask her parents to please not tell it was you that told in order to keep the friendship in-tact.
