should I get my belly button pierced?

Should I get my belly button pierced?
Has anybody had it done?
How bad does it hurt? And is it a bad idea?
Im almost 16 and my mom said I can get it for my birthday. I just want more information about it

well I have not done it but its a 4 gage neadle if you dont know how big that is all I can tell you is that it's really really big but it does not hurt after that for very long like earings do

it hurts like hell, but it is worth it if you have a cute tummy. beware... they only look cute until you get pregnant. so USE PROTECTION when you attract all those cute guys.

meganhead I have mine done and they still look cute when your pregnant you just have to get a special ring for it.

I have mine done and I didnt think it hurt that bad, but they used that numbing spray. I think it looks good but once I accedently pulled it and I got a big bruse around it for like 2 week!! BE CARFULL!

the man that done it was really friendly and helped me relax! he sprayed some stuff on my belly and then I layed down and he clamped it and then quickly put a needle through it and it was not painful but it was uncomfortable yes! but about ten minutes later I was happily shopping and thought to myself 'what was all the fuss about' so I would just go for it hope this helped you!
