Belly button and swimming

ok its been 2 weeks since I went and got it pierced..would it be ok to swim or what are your thoughts

I wouldnt ,,,not in a pool maybe in a ocean but not in a pool

I wouldnt because when I got my belly button pierced I got it infected when I went in the pool. you'll have to wait about 2 more weeks before you can swim. sorrys =(

I went swimming a hour after I got it. I just cleaned it after and it never got infected! I don't see why you can't =]

It's really not a good idea. The chemicals in the pool could irritate it, and the salt in the ocean would irritate it.

All places for swimming are full of bacteria, so I really wouldn't risk it.

no, to much chemicals in the pool to swim and the ocean is dirty, best bet if to wait or if you cant handle it, swim and right after clean your ring.

You have to wait 3 months to swim in chlorine. Or how ever you spell it. But It would be better to wait. I have mine done myself. and I went swimming on my second or third week and it made it eww. haha. But yeahh wait a while.

You should wait, at least another two weeks

definitely don't go in a pool, because it'll probably get infected by all the chemicals.
but maybe you could go in the ocean, if you clean it well afterwards.

the ocean is gods medicine if you think about it the ocean aways makes you feel better! I would actually suggest to go to the sea to clean it because the ocean has natural salt!! but I highly suggest you DO NOT swim in the pool maybe after a long period of time because there is way too many chemicalls!!you will get a infection and that a NO NO !! hope my advice helps! good luck mwa
