Being in a band and not singing??

My friends and I are going to start a band
I play electric and acoustic guitar
Do all the members of a bandhave to sing because I can't sing at all

Not really,usually there is only the lead vocalist and the backing vocalist,just tell the lead vocalist you don't want to be the backing,he/she should understand.

no not really if you cant the most you will have to do is to chant like and probalby just sing when you all do and practice there some good advice on this site about it.

From all I know you are not obligated to sing if you are going to be the guitarist.The other members can do backgroud vocal if the sing better.So don't worry.I saw that in m favorite bands as well and I would love to hear the main guitarist singing ,but no change.XD

no you all dont have to sing...my family is a christian band and only my sister my mom and myself sing my brother just plays the drums and my dad just plays the electric bass...but we all play instruments!!
