Being gay is abnormal?

I want to start off clean, admitting that I am gay. Today, society views homosexuality as an abnormality. I understand that people fear what they don't understand or what they are told is wrong. I don't understand how being gay is abnormal...

10% of the world identifies itself as homosexual
So I would say being gay is more normal than having red hair...

I'm with you on this one. Homosexuality is just a part of life. Being people, we are all differant. People in the world today need to accept other's differances. Part of the reason people think being gay is wrong or abnormal is because of religion. I'm not trying to give religion a bad name, but if it wasn't for the words in the bible, people wouldn't think being gay was a weird thing. I think a lot of people will agree with me when I say Being open-minded is the best way to be.

I agree competely gays are not even treated like human beings it's honestly retarded.
I'm actually embarssed that our soicety cannot be more open minded and optimistic.

It is shocking that people still have these primitive veiws regarding Gay people, I have quite a few gay friends one of wich has had a homophobic attack just because of his sexuallity, this left him in a terrible state, however as time has gone on he has manage to climb the ladder again and stands up for his rites, Im very proud of him for doing so.. you stand up and be proud of who you are

I live in Santa Rosa CA and we have Plenty of gay and bi people. I myself am a bisexual. But in a wierd way. I am emotionally attracted to guys. Only not sexually. I've had two bfs. And I loved them both. I even had sex with one.
But I dont think homosexuals are treated poorly at all. Once again doffedentllaces. Different views. Leave me comments
