to grow up fast. but now I have a new outlook on life. I just hate how rude people can be.

awww, it is a bad thing ..
but dont listen to that part of the story becouse people are very ugly at times the time is that people sometimes do tell the truth but they tell it slant. So not everytime is the truth fully there; most of the time its just what they want to point out to make themselvs feel better. Why ? becouse to a surtain extend they do have more liverties. The thing is that right now you are probably growing up much faster than they are. This is a learning experience that should be embrassed. Best part about it is that you do not only get to parent your kids but you also sort of get to grow up with them since the age is so close. Good luck young mother

I think it is wonderful to have kids at an early age.
If anyone asks you can say, I wanted to be able to connect with my kids at a more personal level. being younger is better for them in the long run.
dont listen to them. you should be proud of what youre doing.

having kids at an early age... ? .. thats always a coin flip really ... no one knows what each individual is up for. Now if we are talking cave man sure! start at 13

okay it isnt a bad thing hunny the sooner the better I think.lol..I had my son at 16 and I have tons of friends who had em I have a friend now who had her son 2 weeks after I did and mind you we were 16 and shes pregnant now and she 19...I tell a lot of my friends by the time you are having kids my son will be able to babysit yours..lol..for that matter probably have his own..god I hope not.but no aslong as your a good mother to your kids forget what people have to say..

I know how you feel , im 22 and I have 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl .It did make me grow up pretty fast but who cares about what people think right because you know you have two awsome , pretty kids and no one is going to make you feel bad about them. Tell people not to judge you because you had kids so young tell them that you love to be a great mother.

It is NOT a horrible thing, just unfortunate that young moms don't have longer to know about the world.

I applaud all you young moms, because I realize that you are trying your best to deal with a hard situation. ALL new parents go thru the same trials, and I know that it's not easy - AT ALL.

hey im heidi. my mom had me when she was also very young. my sister is 18 and has a child. but her having a child is what changed her prospective on life. she no longer does drugs or any thing like that. she is a great mom. I think as long as you love your children and take care of them then every one who looks down on you are just shittty people.
