seriously why do you need to be an advisor??? if you are answering questions and helping people on this site isnt that enough.
mmm does having that symbol next to your id boost your ego or something??
or having the power to delete questions etc give you the extra popularity on FA??
About Advisors
Who are advisors
Advisors are the official voice of Funadvice, and are users just like you and me. Users get promoted to advisors when they've either ranked highly by other users, or have just provided great answers.
How do I become an advisor?
You can become an advisor by first providing highly rated and clear answers. Contact us with a few of the answers you've provided and we'll consider upgrading your account to advisor status.
Many Advisors answer a question!
Yes, multiple advisors (and you) can answer a single question. The first advisor to answer the question will be considered the official advisor, and they will be promoted as such on the question page.
Are the guidelines for what advisors should and should not do?
Yes, you can read them in the advisor's guide.
Straight from the advisor tab
Like Jeremy or Stephanie told me I think it was one of them,it's not the quanity of advice you give it's the quality, you have to actually mean what you put down,if you want to know some of the guidelines on how to become one go to:

Contact editor or thedude about you being promoted,it takes a lot of hard work, nothing is handed to you in click. Advice, don't suck up to them.

Become an advisor?
How do Ibecome one?
I love this site and everyone on it! I love answering people's questions and helping out as best I can! So I think it'd be cool to be an advisor.
I have giving advice before that went against the rules a bit, but didn't mean...
anything by it. It was just a joke, but no one thought it was funny and I hope I didn't offend anyone too bad. Will that make it so I'd never be able to become an advisor? Also is there some kind of thing you have to do to become one? For example, Would I have to get a 100.00% on my advice a certain number of times, or something along those lines?
Thanks!
