Beauty vs brains

Why are people paranoid? I mean there's like a million questions on this website 'am I hot?' 'am I ugly?' 'am I fat?' and to be honest I havent seen anyone ugly, or fat.And what counts more beauty or brains??

Well, ask yourself these questions.

Would you go out with someone who was beautiful but had the brains of a dead fish.

Would you go out with someone who was ugly but could win who wants to be a millionaire?

I want a guy that is cute, and can be smart. I mean I wouldn't mind dating a guy that was really hot and was dumb, I mean I've done it before. but I don't want somebody that's ugly, lol. that's just who I am, and what I prefer...

Some of the women asking if they are attractive are insecure while others are just fishing for compliments.

For me to be attracted to a women, intelligence, a sense of humor, and being a non-smoker are prerequisites. I'm just not going to comprimise here. I'm flexible on pretty much anything else.

Look beauty and youth are believed to be attractive qualities for potential mates, according to evolutionary theory men choose women by these qualities because it meant the healthiest females and so the best mates for offspring...
Whether you like it or not people judge others based on their looks...
Hopefully we're evolving past the point of judging people based solely on their looks, but some people still do it...
I dont think either is more important, I truly believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and personality counts more than either...

As for why people are obsessed with it on this site... because they're in middle/high school, the most superficial of all societies...

Our world is obsessed with beauty and you all know it. That is why you see so many of the young ladies on here asking if they are pretty or hot. The media has made it impossible to be normal looking and confident. If you arent drop dead gorgeous you arent worth anything, at least that is what they would have you think.

Admit it, you know that a first impression is a hard one to get over. So almost instinctively we all try to put our best foot forward with how we look then hope that the other person will like who we really are.

I think that da brain counts mopre I don't know about da rest of the world but come on every1 knos that 1 day that beauty just goes away!!!1

personality is the MOST important thing to me, looks is just a bonus and brains are too, obviously a sence of humor and even just slight intelligence is a must, but I have never come across anybody without them, so for me its personality. I think the people who go for looks are just too simple minded and shallow, and the people who go for brains arnt much better but atleast there looking just past the flesh.
