What do bandana colors mean?

I want to know what bandana color means what cause I like to wear bandanas to hold my hair back when me and my friend chill out. I really dont want to start any random trouble with anyone over what I use to hold my hair back!

Uhmm actualy there are a lot more colors that mean something;
Crips - main color is Blue
Bloods - main color is Red (or burgundy if they are Piru)
Green - certain gangs identified with Parks or certain cities (Gardena Shotgun Crips or Lincoln Park Bloods[San Diego])
Purple - Grape Street Watts Crips (L.A.)
Brown - Fudgetown Crips (Compton)
Orange - Hoover Criminals (South Central Los Angeles)
Surenos (Mexicans - Southern Cali) - Blue
Nortenos (Mexicans - Northern Cali) - Red

just be safe with all of that stuff one of my friends got shot for wearing one.

Nah, dude, you're cool. You got a good answer last time, the only gang related colors are blue / red, as far as I know.

but dude seriously you don't have anything to worry about... unless you're wearing your bandana around your head like tupac, and look like a complete tatted up psychopath walking the streets freaking out like you're jacked up on pcp then you shouldn't worry. gang members are.. stupid... but they're smart enough to know whos in a gang and who's not. just don't wear your bandana like a gang member and you'll be okay.

I think you should probably get some kinda bandanas with like flowers or peace signs or one of those american flag patterns or somethin if your worried about it...

honestly there are a lot of gang colors and a lot of things a bandana can mean ... it's more than just a color thing actually...

depending on where you live you might want to take it seriously...
get a bandana with your favorite beer logo or somethin... so you dont have to think about it anymore...

yellow usually represents LK (latin Kings) I think that is the only 1 that wasnt written there..

It depends on where you're from, nobody seems to remember chicago, where theres so many underground and not so underground (latin kinds, bloods ect)...most of them wear them around their wrists or in their pockets though...but again, it depends on where you live

First of all just because you wear a bandana does not mean you are in a gang or even affiliated with one. Yes that is some what prime identification for gang memebers but they know how decipher a memeber from a neutral. Memebers from certain gangs and sets will not trip if you wear a bandana reguardless of what color it is as long as it is in a respectful manner. If you have a flag (bandana) hanging out of your back pocket then yeah that will cause you some major conflict. Just do not forget that it's a way of life for them and they take it very seriously. Respect is above all but you wont have any trouble wearing whatever color bandana you want, they do not waste their time with stuff like that, they got bigger fish to fry!
