Ballet moves

Asked by jadeluvsmusic about 1 year ago, 3 answers.

What are most of the moves for ballet? Name them and tell me how to do them. E.g. Plea: Bend your knees out while going down.

Erm let me see...
btw the speling will be a little ... well terrible!
Bat mon Taundu - extending you leg along the floor with a pointed foot. To the front, to the side, to the back etc..
Bat mon Glese - the same as a Bat mon Taundu but this time lift your leg just above the floor.
Grande bat mon - Swishing a straight, pointed leg high up in the air ( a sort of kick but constantly straight legged)
Pa da Chat (Like a Cat) - Starting with one leg behind the other... (3rd position) and jump up in the air from the front foot first and in the air bend your legs landing with the back foot, its a little complecated to explain!
Ron da Jean - Sliding a straight leg with a pointed toe, acorss the floor around you in a semi circle.
Parda Bouret Peque - start in 3rd position and lift each leg up in turn to your knee or ankle , and go behind, side , front to switch legs.
and there are more... but some are too confusing to do let alone type!
Hope I helped.
