Can you make banana bread with ripe plantains?

I think they would need to be extremely overripe, e.g. till the outside skin is black, but I'm not sure if they'd have the same amount of sweetness. Its probably worth a try though!

it works best with over ripe ones, and it gives more flavour.

no because plantains are not as sweat as bananas. Also you need to use overly ripe bananas witch meens that they are turning brown.
