Baking cookies

Tomorrow is my friends birthday and I want to bake her big cookies. I was just wondering if anybody knew how to bake big cookies without them getting burned.

ummm I just kinda put them in the correct amount of time because I like a soft center. but I wud try putting the rack on the middle shelf and cook ith the light on so you can see how brown they are getting happy
