likes him and he doesnt like her, but I feel really guilty about hanging out with her and playing dumb about his love life. I'm suppose to go to dinner with her this week and I hate not telling her the truth about it. I don't want to upset her if it's just nothing.

After ending my first serious relationship I continued hanging out with her for a while and we always ended up having sex. It was a huge mistake and it made me realize that I would have been better off if I just stopped seeing her. It was really hard, but if I kept hanging out with her my feelings for her never would have gone away.

I recommend you stop seeing your ex. As for your friend, let her know that you don't think he's interested in her. There's no point in watching your friend trying to date a guy that you know she doesn't have a chance with. That would just be cruel. Your job as a friend isn't to tell little white lies to preserve her feelings, it's to make sure that she ends up being happy.

you need to firgure out where you guys stand because other wise you are going to get your self caught up in a love triangle...

well thats what happend with me and my ex, because I was really awful(bad thing to do ufcks up everything lol) and kissed another boy then told him cus I didnt want him to hear it from someone else and we broke up but we still had feelings for eacother, after he forgave me, we were acting like we were together but werent but not at school or public just after school and on weekends, (everyone knew tho, very obious) and this went on for like a year, I was determaned to get him back, and knew I had to prove to him I wouldnt do it again and I knew it would take time soo thats what happend until one day I was just like are you just taking me for a ride or do you want to be together (which I never really made him choose incase he choose that he didnt want to be together) and he wanted to be with me and know we have been going out for four years so maybe you need a a bit of time before you get back into the realtionship (flirtly kinda stage) to last to make it more interesting and exciting and anxious. I think you should just tel him how you feel and ask him.
