How to get my backround nice and not blurry?

How do I get a pic big so I can stretch it for my backroun on here without it looking blurry and crappy? =/

Stretching it, is what makes it blurry... you have to start off with a picture that's ALREADY big, so there's no stretching necessary.

gotta have it taken in the highest resolution possible so it doesn't get distorted and blocky when it gets stretched out for the background.
