Well, its possible that you are sore from a tough workout, or maybe sleeping wrong. Try to think of something you did that you don't usually do that may have caused it (e.c. pushing something heavy) I wouldn't get too worried about it, it should go away in a few days. If it keeps hurting, maybe go see a chiropractor or doctor so you can find out what is wrong. Maybe you need a new mattress or pillow...Best of luck to you!!! happy

Does your back only hurt when you lie on the sofa. Does it hurt when you lay in bed also or any other time. Maybe the sofa is to hard for you or something.

ME TOO!!! It is terrible! I feel your pain!!!

Go to a chiropractor. Ask around and get some recommendations for a good one. He or she, can xray your back and see whats up, then fix it. It isn't a quick fix, you will have to go a few times, but then life is good. I have a screwed up disc so my back hurts often, but I am old, and that crap comes with age I guess. If the chiropractor doesn't do it, see and orthopedic doctor and they can help too. I went to both. Hope this helps and good luck.

Another common thing is bruising of the back bone ive done it and the doctors say to sleep on a hard surface for a couple of nights and take it easy see if it helps cause anything can strain a back bruise and make it worse and cause other problems and they do take time to heal
