Back ground checks in the state of idaho

I need to know if the state of Idaho only checks your back ground in Idaho? or in all states? thank-you...

My guess is that it's job dependent - most employers will tell you whether or not they look at such things, etc. What I'd try to do is be upfront about it - mention that (as the case may be) it's a long story, they got the wrong person, etc...

Or, explain up front that you did some bad things, etc but that shouldn't ruin the rest of your life. Hope this helps & good luck. Also you might try checking out the legal stuff online from the state of idaho - they have most of the rules & regulations of employement type stuff online, including felony convictions, etc. If you need another pointer, let us know.
