Should I babysit?

I was thinking of making a little money so I don't have to always ask my mom, I was wondering if babysitting is a good job for a girl in 7th grade. Should I try this out?
IF I was going to do it, where can I find a babysitting course?

hey. im 15 and I started babysitting since I was 14. its a pretty good job, it can be stressful though if youre watching bratty kids. but you basically get paid to go to someones house and eat their food and watch their tv. hah :] im not really sure about the babysitting course though, I never took one. I think they might have them at a ymca type place though. you could look in the phone book or something.

I have been babysitting since I was 12 and its an excellent way for younger girls to make some extra money.

The only thing is you need to show the family that you are responsible and can handle the children.

Start out with people who are close to you that will trust you, and once you get going.. word gets around.. and people will recomend you to other families...

Just remember you are responsible for the children you watch..

It is a good job but be careful - only babysit for people you KNOW or your parents know to be trustworthy...Take care !!
