Hi,
The first thing you should do is sign up for a CPR class. This will get you certified in CPR, and when you are looking for babysitting jobs, that will really help comfort the parents. Also, if you can put up flyers that will help. Once you get a job, do a really good job and then use that person as a contact, and try to spread the word about your services through word of mouth.
