try doing some arts and craft with them. I saw some things on nanny 911. lol but but just go to google and type in arts and craft to children.
this shud keep them occupied for some of the day. what I do is let the kids I baby sit play out side 4 about an hour; have them come and 4 lunch; get full; and theyll all b tierd after that.
hope I helped. and remember that 4 young kids evenful planned out days are always fun!
thanks so much. the only problem is that the two youngest are girls, and they are OBSESSED with me. They fight over who gets to sit on my lap, who gets to do what when, and everything you could think of. The 7 year old is a guy, and he's pretty self occupied. I just want the kids off of me, and doing something productive. should I explain to them that's how it needs to go?
okay I hope I can help!! in the mornings you can watch cartoons and just relax and if the girls are fighting over you let them sit on either side of you and they will both be occupied! then at lunch time make them something that they will eat and make sure they eat it! after that let them play hard for a long time AND you can just watch tv or something!! the give them food at dinner then after that they will be pretty pooped so grab a movie, dim the lights, let them cuddle with you and surely the night will be relaxing b/c they will be occupied with the movie or asleep! hope that helped!
if you ever babysit them again try haveing them do something with their hands. like silly putty or take a bouncy ball and sit in a triangle and have them throw it to eachother... maby ask them to spell a word before they can can get the ball or ask a math q... or you could do computer games or bake something with them
but if you dont like the job why do it!
Have them bead bracelets and necklaces. Purchase some cute, inexpensive beads, pony bead size for ease and let them bead. A cheap bag of beads ($2) and some elastic thread ($1) and there you go. Also have something for the boy also. He should be included. Get a coloring book with super heroes, not a baby book, something like spiderman, and some blank typing paper and a dollar store box of crayons. You can get all of this from the dollar store, let him trace or draw the superheroes and color them. Let him create his own comic book. The girls might like this also.
girls; make up all the way hunny. I have two boys and sometimes I just let them do my make up - I'm like a human canvass!! lol!
and the boy, depends some kids are comp kids some are football kids...find what he likes doing and let him comp etc, after all he will probably appreciate his sisters be amused and getting some peac for a while lol!
however, if you're really unhappy doing it, then you need to stop. I would hate someone to look after my children who didn't enjoy it anymore...to be honest it would worry me. but the fact that the girls love you says to me that you're nice to them, you should be flattered, and remember at this pointin their life you are a HUGE influence on them!
My advice is to have them do something crafty like have them put on a fasion show for them and then like have them color and then like make clay pots with some clay and then bake something and then you guys can build a fort and put little beds under it for them to lay on and then put on some tv for them to watch under their fort and then they are sure to fall asleep
