Baby mama drama

Ok im 19 and I just ahd a baby with my long time boyfriend of about 2 years. his mom bought us the whole winne the pooh suit for the nanys room including like the bassinet changing table swing and crib. When I went into labor I told my boyfriend I didnt want her in there because I didnt feel comfortable with her seeing my every crease and crevice as im pushing this baby out. So after the baby was born she came in the room and I knew she was mad. She never even told me congratulations or any thing! She just walked right by me to go see the baby. Ever since then I've held this grudge against her and I dont mind her seeing the baby but for some reason I have a huge problem with her taking the babyhome with her. I never have let her. I dont know why I feel like this I dont want to but I do. Help!

I believe it is normal to feel weird about other people, even family, taking the baby home for a long time. I cried the first time we had someone watch my son so we could go out. As far as your concern about her being mad, invite her over for tea or coffee and talk to her about it. I would tell her the truth that you think she might be upset about it but that you were not confortable with being naked in front of her. I know I wasn't even for the doctor!

I have the same problem but I wasnt in labor my sister was,
okay it all started at my sisters bby shower and my sister asked me to do something and my grandma wanted me to do something else and she was yelling at me for it.
my dad jumped in and say hold on she is doing something for misty (my sister) and she went basirk so we did see her till my sister was in labor. she wanted to be in the room buat my sister only wanted my mom (her husband was in iraq at the time) and she got all effended and started argueing with my sister and my mom told her leave her alone she doesnt want you in here cant you wait till she is done. and she said well I got to see savanna (my cousin)while she was in labor which wasnt true she snuck in but anyways so she walked in saw the bby and left. we havent really talked to her since. so if someone else gives you a good idea let me know please

She had no business being in there unless you were 100% comfortable with it...she is going to have deal with her issues on her own - you had a right to that moment in privacy!

Your just close to the baby. et her take it home instead of hiring a babysitter or sometheing.

this question was actually for a friend of mine. shes says she knows she shouldnt feel this way but she does and shes just having problems getting the feeling to go away. her mothers boyfriend had made some little bracelets and had the babys weight and b-day and #1 grammy put on them along with roseanna which is the moms mom. and she gave one of the bracelets to the dads mom whom she is having the problem with, not realizing it had the other gmas name on it as #1 gma and she said she felt HORRIBLE so I think it may be that she just wants to spend time with her baby and feels like her boyfriend mother is trying to take that from her? I dont know? but I have also told her the baby is almost a month old and the gmas need bonding time with the baby just as she does.
