Is my baby having hiccups in my stomach?

I've been feeling movements from my little one really low...almost to the point if I put my hand on my downstairs I could feel him. Could this possibly be the baby having hickups, or is it just him adjusting and moving? Thanks!

Probably just him kicking moving around. We have two kids, and our second one was slightly bigger than the first baby, and he moved around kicked a lot more.

Both my sons did have hiccups (as well as the ususal movements thedude describes). It was after I'd eaten in the evening and then gone to bed, so I could see them moving as I lay there. The books I read said that was the normal time - the food you eat makes them hiccup and when you lie still you can feel it most. It's quite fun to feel and see them doing this once you know it's not a problem! I felt and saw it quite high up on the 'bump', so maybe what you're feeling is not hiccups, but just a generally active baby. Either way, it's a positive sign of a healthy child, and a lovely link to your baby.

My little girl had hiccups all the time when I was pregnant with her. I could always tell for sure thats what they were because I could feel the constant, short jerks or twitches, then she would roll around and move to the other side of my belly! Kind of like she was mad she had them. It was so cute. She's 10 months now and still gets them just as much!

I'm experiencing those movements right now in my lower stomach. Baby's do get hicups in your stomach and that is what you are feeling. They go away on their own.
