2 words for you: grow up. you are a child. a baby is a human being, who is totally 100 % dependant on its mom. not just a doll to play with and dress up. I am 24 years old with an 8 month old, plus I have a wonderful husband who does everything he can for us, and oh my god you would not believe how difficult it is to raise a baby. you have not even lived your life yet. you have no knowledge of the world to pass on to a baby because you are a baby yourself. I love my daughter, of course but you know what I have not had a full nights sleep since she was born. not one. I have not been out with my friends even once. I just cannot stress to you enough what a major unimaginable responsibility it is to become a mom. you just have no idea what kind of a commitment it is. its not your fault, you are only 13 years old. just do yourself a favor and wait until you have finished school, got a steady income, met someone you are in love with, and are able to take care of yourself before you try to take on the responsibility of taking care of someone else. otherwise you'll probably get your kid taken away from you or living on welfare, if your lucky.
Girl you really don't want to walk down that road just yet it's really really hard being a mom because it's not about picking out cute clothes or holding your baby. There's doctors appointments, feeding, bathing, burping, changings and so on you should really wait untill your emotionly ready for a child.
Okay, I don't see why people are so HARSH about this -- the girl who's 16 has one on the way saying it's not a walk in the park is her opinion -- it's not the same for every girl ! My pregnancy my taking care of my child is almost the easiest thing that I've ever done -- sounds crazy, but it is. Some people just don't have the patience that it requires to have a child -- but considering that you are only 13 -- I would wait.. seriously - I mean you can't get a job @ 13 so why have a baby??
people are HARSH because there is a 13 year old child saying she wants a baby. my pregnancy was a breeze. I actually lost a baby before, so to be more accurate, my pregnancy was the best time of my life. but the day to day responsibility of taking care of a child is too big a task for a 13 year old girl to choose to get herself in. dont get me wrong, I know there are teenage moms who really take great care of their children. some teenage moms really amaze me. but the bigger percentage dissappoint me. I work at the welfare office. I've seen it all. it may sound harsh, but you know what else is harsh? reality. and in reality, a child that young is not ready to have a baby. thats not an opinion, thats a fact.
in reality it is 100% possible for a 13 year old to WANT a baby...no one can speak for everyone in this world...and in this world peoples opinions vary so much.
think long and hard about it...you do have your whole life ahead of you...and you are still a child...but if theres nothing else in the world that would make you as happy as a baby would then there no reason to not have one. just make sure to get all the facts about them, all the facts about what could go wrong, all the facts about sex and make sure you have it with someone whos responsible too (which may be hard to find at your age) just remember...its nothing like taking care of a doll...there is a lot more work involved
you truely dont need a kid to take care of at that age. If you do, you would have to go through all the pain. then you would have to get a job that will pay for his/hers food and clothing. because I almost know for a fact that your parents wont support you for long. then you would have a job, school, and taking care of a baby on your hands. and your husband (if he stays with you) will have to work and do the same thing...
I dont think you should..
