Atvs on roads

Can you drive atvs on roads in ontario, I think I once read if the by-law doesnt say you can't you can in small towns or in the sub urbs of citys

You can't on town or city streets or on highways, but there are trails and paths on the side of the highway for this purpose.

Where I live, however, there is no bylaw and atv's are regular transportation.

Well from my knowledge most if not all atv's or any vehicle with tire's similar to that of an atv are illegal on public road's. It is mainly the tire's that make them an illegal vehicle.Hope this help's.
