At what age can you choose where you want to live

Ok so my mother and I don't really get along and a friend of mine told me that I can choose if I want to live with her or my dad with out having to have her consent. I just want to know if that's true.

but at that age you reallly dont have any skills t actually live in a decent place unless you get a roommate

well yea ti'll 18 ( my opinion*) but I don't really know cause one of my friends have tha same prob. but if your younger, then your gonna have 2 go 2 court and the judge will decide...

This depends, once you become a teenager they will take your request into consideration, however, at the end of the day it will come down to who they believe is the fitter parent. By about 15 or 16, they dont argue too much with you on where you want to live (again, assuming your parents are equally fit parents)

In Illinois it is 14 year old as my ex daughter ran away to her mom house and stated she wanted to live with her, so she stayed there and went to count and she continued to stay there thank God for her sake and mine..
