If you were going to take one dance class, would you take Argentine tango or traditional tango? I've had a few lessons in classic tango, but only one in Argentine tango. The moves, the kicks & spins seem much more fun in Argentine tango, so I think I'm going to take lessons in that version of the dance. What about you, if you were going to learn tango, which style would you take?

Argentine tango is by far the better one to take. In the rest of the world, that is the version of tango they teach, only on the US do they teach American tango.

If you can, watch "Take the lead" starring Antonio Banderas - awesome movie, there is one scene of Argentine Tango that is simply amazing.
