Are these bad grades?

Okay so I got my report card and I got one a and six b's. I got into sooo much trouble. Do you think that these are bad grades?

Without knowing what you are capable of, we can't honestly answer that.

Some students try very hard and can only pull off B's and C's, while others get A's easily all the time.

So, what kind of student are you? Are you able to pull off A's? If so, then it means you are slacking and require more discipline. If you're naturally a B student, then I'd say those are very good grades.

I'd hate to have parents like yours with my grade in trig lol
and no, its ridiculous that they got mad about those grades, they're great!

It really depends I guess. My parents would be pretty mad if I came home with those grades. If my kid was trying, however, and I knew that was the best they could do, then I'd be happy... Like ichibanarky said, it depends on what you're capable of doing...

but some parents/school officials expct higher grades from some people

No and neither do your parents. they just want you to do better. when really they want you to do the best you can. unless their really that strict. in that case shame on them.

those are better than my grades

and just to make it clear, those are usually my grades im a B average student.
