Are sim only contracts any good?

Are SIM only contracts any good? Im using PAYG at the moment and have seen lots of adverts about these SIM only contracts. anyone used these?

Yep, I have one with Vodafone. I used to have a normal pay monthly contract but switched to a sim only tariff a few months ago. You get more free minutes and texts because networks dont have to recoup the cost of a handset. My Vodafone tariff cost £9.99 per month and gives me 500 texts and 100 minutes. Yep, I have virgin liberty sim, I get 200 minutes 200 texts each month for £10 monthly I dunno what that is in dollars. I find sim only contracts are much better, but do see what offers other networks have to see if you can find something better and read through the terms and conditions so you dont get caught up in something your not happy with and then you might be stuck there for a while.
