Are people embarassed of me?

Why would people rather talk with pretty skinny people than fat, bigger people? Just curious cause we were at a family reunion today, and nobody would talk to me cause I don't think I'm pretty and I'm fat. And all the skinny pretty girls always had...

people to talk to. Do you think that it's cause people are embarassed to talk to me? Also guys don't really talk to me either. If they do, they talk a while and just stop talking for no reason and this is what's really getting to me the most. My so called friends that I talked to in school have stopped talking to me. Ever since we graduated they just stopped talking to me. And I'm always alone. Are people embarassed?
I think they are. What do you think? Would you talk to me and treat me like a friend, or just trick me into thinking that I was your friend then dump me like a piece of garbage?

Ok, have you considered because you dont think you're pretty (there are fat people out there who are pretty, one does not negate the other) that maybe you are more shy and withdrawn, which is why people dont talk to you?
You've seen people who are no so attractive with a ton of friends... They are confident and seem to have this special charisma that draws people to them... So people dont really take into account what they look like?
You need more self confidence... Just go up to people and talk to them... You need to believe you are a person worth being friends with, you have special worth, before other people can see it in you...

I think that it has nothing to do with your weight or your looks. Maybe the skinny pretty girls knew more people then you did at the reunion. And maybe your friends haven't talked to you since graduation because they are focusing on college or something. You should call them.

do be ashamed of your self just because your big. people are verry superficil and think that skinny and pretty is every thing. I have trouble with it to thinking that if I was like them id be more popular but I just act like it dosnt bother me act confident even if your not and people will become friends with you.and yes id be your friend no id never ditch you because it suck I know how it feels
