Are american kids getting dumber?

Are American kids getting dumber ?

If not then please also explain in detail

No I do not believe they are getting dumber I just think they don't care as much as they used to. Kids these days don't understand the value of money just like the they don't understand the importance of schooling. They don't see that they might need scholorships and extra help to get into a good high rank school as clearly as other generations did. American kids are not getting dumber they are being spoiled and distracted with other things.

I agree with nirvanafan. I also want to add that I think that the focus today is shifting from just going to school and getting good grades...that in itself does not guarantee a job, financial freedom or anything similar.

yea, nirvanafan hit the right answer.. we may see some american kids becoming somewhat dumb on how they deal with things, weighing judgment in life and stuff.. but we see 'em all because they easily catches attention, but most american kids excell A LOT more than what we anticipated 'em to be...

Yea they are. We Americans are not interested in being smart. We are interested in material objects and who can have the best of the best. Not all Americans are this way but I'd have to say the majority are.

yes. yes they are. especially middleschools right now. everyone is getting handed averything, and no caring about school. and all food comes in a box, and all morals from tv and movies.

things just come easily now a days
